Technology News: Reportedly, Elon musk has bought Twitter and as per the reports, the new owner of Twitter is Elon Musk has fired the social media company’s four top executives, including the Indian CEO of Twitter, Parag Agrawal, and legal executive Vijaya Gadde.
Elon Musk has started cleaning the house at Twitter and dismissed the four top executives, which were in the topmost position. These include Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, legal executive Vijaya Gadde, the chief financial officer Ned Segal and General Counsel Sean Edgett.
Furthermore, Parag Agrawal was appointed twitter CEO last November 2021 after the co-founder of Twitter Jack Dorsey had stepped down. However, an IIT Bombay and Stanford alumnus, Agrawal had joined the company over a decade ago, when there were less than one thousand employees.
It is said that Parag had clashed with Elon Musk publicly and privately as well in recent months about the takeover. Additionally, Musk has also dismissed Gadde, for her content moderation decisions at the Company.
However, Elon visited the company’s headquarters in San Francisco and met with the engineers and advertising executives. He has promised to transform Twitter by loosening the service’s content moderation rules, making its algorithm more transparent, nurturing subscription businesses, and importantly dismissing employees.
On the other hand, Musk is tried to back out of the deal, but this month he has faced legal challenges for trying to withdraw.
